According to the synopsis for next week’s episode of the NBC series, Manfred (François Arnaud) teams up with his fellow Midnight residents to venture to a roadside bar where the supernatural lady is apparently taking the lives of her victims.

In the trailer for the episode, the enigmatic Midnight newcomer seduces a man on the road, who she seemingly murders with her beast-like teeth. Lemuel (Peter Mensah) identifies the woman as a succubus, noting that he hasn’t seen one for over a century.

At the end of the promo clip, Manfred comes face-to-face with the succubus.

“Oh my … so many handsome men,” the succubus says as she sees Manfred entering the men’s restroom.

The psychic, however, isn’t charmed by her looks. “You’re not my type,” Manfred bluntly tells the succubus.

Also in the upcoming episode, Olivia (Arielle Kebbel) discovers a link to her father. Even though much of Olivia’s past remains unknown, it was previously suggested that the freelance hitman has some unresolved issues with her father. In the series premiere, for instance, Olivia initially assumed that her father was responsible for Manfred’s sudden arrival at Midnight.

Elsewhere in the next episode, Bobo (Dylan Bruce) faces off against members of Sons of Lucifer once again. Bobo’s first run in with the dangerous bike gang took place in the series premiere, in which two members of the group came barging into his pawnshop looking to cause trouble. They accused Bobo of killing his fiancée Aubrey (Shannon Lorance) and threatened him over the whereabouts of the murder weapon and the money that he had supposedly stashed. When one of the bikers approached Bobo with a knife, Olivia and Lemuel showed up and saved him.

Bobo had another encounter with the Sons of Lucifer in Season 1, episode 2. In the episode, Bobo was placed in a locked room with four members of the biker gang. A fight ensued, but being the skilled combatant that he is, Bobo incredibly took out all four bikers on his own.

“Midnight, Texas” Season 1, episode 4, titled “Sexy Beast,” airs on Monday, Aug. 14 at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
