Miranda Cosgrove of "iCarly" survived a "life-threatening" accident on Thursday morning escaping with just a broken ankle after her tour bus crashed into an overturned semi in Illinois.
The accident has forced the actress/singer to postpone her summer tour until further notice.
Cosgrove, 18, is one of seven people hurt when the bus hit the overturned truck on Interstate 70 near Vandalia, Ill., about 70 miles northeast of St. Louis, officials told the Los Angeles Times.
"Miranda's mom was on the bus with her and got really beaten up by the crash," a source close to the star told People. "She's expected to fully recover, but it's scary because the driver was hurt, too, and he's in really bad shape because the injury happened close to his heart."
That source also told the magazine that it was "a life-threatening crash" and added that the driver is in critical condition after collision with the overturned truck.
"A piece from the tractor-trailer went straight through the windshield and the driver's arm was sliced all the way through," the source told People.
Cosgrove was reportedly sleeping on a couch in the front and so she felt the impact of the accident and is left "really shaken-up." Check out the video of the scene shot by local news station KDSK 5.
