La La Land
“La La Land” stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are nominated for best kiss at the MTV Movie and TV Awards. Summit Entertainment

The MTV Movie and TV Awards are finally here, but there are far more titles to remember this year. The ceremony previously only honored movies, but now TV shows are now thrown into the mix.

While other award shows separate the categories, MTV allows movies and TV shows to be nominees in some of the same categories. Stephen Amell from The CW’s “Arrow” will be competing against Felicity Jones from “Rogue One” for best hero. “Suicide Squad” star Jared Leto, who played the Joker, is nominated against Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who plays Negan on “The Walking Dead,” for best villain.
