Beyoncé brought down the house during the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards with a performance of a number of the songs of her album “Lemonade.” While she sang, danced and smashed cameras, Twitter users took to the social media site to discuss the performance and take a few more shots at Jay Z for allegedly cheating.

The “Watch the Throne” rapper was not in attendance during the show, which left many questioning how he was reacting to his wife belting out the telling lyrics to songs like “Sorry.” Many teased that Jay Z was likely squirming while watching the performance from the comfort of his home, while others joked that those in attendance at the VMAs were gearing up to attack him. Jay Z, who rarely pops up on social media, has not responded.

The performance was just one of a number of times all eyes were on Beyoncé during the VMAs. She and daughter Blue Ivy stole the spotlight on the red carpet, arriving hand-in-hand. Beyoncé donned a sheer blue bedazzled gown, while Blue Ivy was seen wearing a sparkly peach dress with a long trail lagging behind her. As fabulous as their outfits were, it was the accessories that elevated both looks. The L.A. Times reported that Beyoncé and Blue Ivy were together wearing more than $13 million in Lorraine Schwartz jewelry to the show.
