Nestle India Ltd said on Monday its board will meet December 7 to consider unlisted Speciality Foods India's proposal to sell its healthcare nutrition business on mutually agreed terms.

The healthcare nutrition business's revenue for the year ended March 31, 2009, was 288 million rupees, Nestle said in a statement to the BSE.

The product portfolio of business unit is meant to satisfy needs of consumers with special nutritional requirements and sold in India under brands Resource, Optifast and Spert, the statement added.
