The official launch of the OnePlus 6T is just a few weeks away, but newly leaked renders of the upcoming device may have fully revealed its appearance. As expected, the OnePlus 6T will borrow design cues from the Oppo R17.

Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks) and MySmartPrice recently released renders of the OnePlus 6T that are based on factory CAD. This means the images provide the most accurate representation of what the final product will look like when it officially launches.

Based on the renders, the OnePlus 6T features a small “waterdrop” notch on top of its display and, at first glance, the handset can easily be mistaken for the Oppo R17. The only difference between them is that the 6T appears to have a more premium look and feel. For one thing, the OnePlus 6T shown in the renders has the signature mirror black color option.

The renders show that the OnePlus 6T will arrive with dual cameras on its back. This completely debunks previous rumors that the handset will likely feature a set of triple rear-facing cameras. The fingerprint sensor is also nowhere to be seen since the OnePlus 6T has already been confirmed to arrive with an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handset is going to house an optical fingerprint sensor, which means it is going to sport an OLED display. Sources say the display of the phone measures 6.4 inches.

A 360-degree video showing off the OnePlus 6T from all sides was also released. From the looks of it, the handset doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack and will only have a single USB Type-C port. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei previously explained that it’s now the right time to remove the headphone jack since it was able to collect data showing majority of consumers are already using wireless headphones. Nevertheless, the 6T will still come with an adapter in the box, so users will still be able to use their wired headphones.

Although the renders only show the OnePlus 6T in its mirror black color option, it’s very likely that the company will release other color variants, according to Android Authority. The popular rumor right now is that the OnePlus 6T will launch on Oct. 17.
