The 86th Academy Awards on March 2 saw a slew of predictable wins. Cate Blanchett’s performance in Blue Jasmine was an absolute shoe-in. The same went for Matthew McConaughey’s transformative performance in Dallas Buyers Club.

But perhaps some of the night’s most compelling moments came from the charismatic acceptance speeches, red carpet interviews and host Ellen DeGeneres’ witty quips. Whether it was poking fun at June Squibb’s age or crashing Twitter for taking a star-studded Oscar selfie, the latest Academy Awards had its fair share of memorable moments that let viewers at home experience a more unscripted side to Hollywood.

For those who missed the show, below are 21 Oscar quotes to share.
