The Pokémon Go Plus is now available in North America for $34.99. Want to get one of your very own? Here’s the best tips for avoiding long lines and making sure your store has one in stock.

Your best bet before you get going is to simply make a few phone calls to stores in your area. While Nintendo hasn’t really said where you can buy a Pokémon Go Plus, GameStop definitely has them in stock. Be sure to find your nearest store or two using the Store Locator, and call to see if they can set one aside for you.

If GameStop isn’t your thing, try giving some of the big-box retailers a try. Target, Toys R Us and Best Buy frequently have new video games, and if there’s money to be made you know Wal-Mart will be getting in on the fun as well. Each of those links will take you to the respective retailer’s store finder.

If you happen to live in New York City, Polygon is reporting the Nintendo World Store has Pokémon Go Plus units in stock, but there is a long line and only one is being sold per customer. The store also declined to comment on how many were in stock.

If you are truly Poké-crazed, you can buy one off of Amazon. Beware, these are third-party retailers, so the cheapest Pokémon Go Plus unit is over $85.

Apple Watch owners may want to hold off on getting a Pokémon Go Plus of their own, since its features will come to Apple Watch in the future. There has been no release window given for this update to the Apple Watch, however.

Anecdotally, a co-worker has found a Pokémon Go Plus at his local GameStop, but mentioned it was the last one in stock.

If you’re still not exactly sure what the Pokémon Go Plus actually does, it’s a device that allows you to play Pokémon Go without looking at your phone. The device is worn like a watch, and lights up and vibrates when you are near a PokéStop or when a Pokémon appears. You can click the button on the Pokémon Go Plus to search the PokéStop or try and catch the wild Pokémon, all without having to take your phone out of your pocket.
