The company's board of directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.18 per share, payable on November 18 to shareholders of record on November 3.

Synaptics Inc. (SYNA) stock grew 11.29 percent to $30.07 in the pre-market trading. Adjusted profit for the first quarter was $19.15 million or $0.57 per share, down from $24.23 million or $0.67 per share last year. Revenue fell to $133.45 million from $153.19 million. Informatica Corp. (INFA) stock fell 5.56 percent to $42.50 in the pre-market trading.
