Not only is the Play Station 4 cheaper and friendlier to consumer concerns like used games and DRM when compared with the Xbox One, it turns out that it might be smaller than the Xbox One as well, which looks something akin to a VCR. In fact, the PS4 may be significantly smaller than the Xbox One. As in many other areas of life, size does matter. In this case, however, bigger is not better.
The image below features the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 lined up side by side. If the image is accurate, we think this says it all.
So not only is the PS4 significantly slimmer than the Xbox One as we noted during the PS4 revealing on Monday night, but it's also much shorter than the Xbox One, according to the above shot. In fact, if the above image is an accurate representation of all four consoles, the Xbox One is also bigger than previous-generation consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360. If you plan to buy or already pre-ordered an Xbox One, make sure you create a little extra room to account for the Xbox One's dimensions.
What do you think of the above size comparison? Do you think the above image is legit? Why or why not? What do you think of the PS4 and Xbox one? Which console will you be getting and why? Do the Xbox One's and PS4's sizes matter to you? Why or why not? Sound off in the comments below.
