The Rangers staved off elimination with a 3-2 victory Game 6 victory in Ottawa and now get a chance to advance in front of their home crowd at Madison Square Garden. The No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference will need a strong performance from goalie Henrik Lundqvist if the Rangers hope to advance on Thursday night.

Mentally, you just try to block everything you can't control. Just control your emotion and focus on the right things, Lundqvist told reporters. The Rangers will rely on Brad Richards -- acquired for moments like this -- and captain Ryan Callahan to deliver some of the scoring punch.

The game begins at 7 p.m. EST and will be broadcasted on MSG for those in the New York/New Jersey area and NBC Sports channel for those outside of the hometown market.
