Shannon Beador has maintained that despite rumors spread by “Real Housewives of Orange County” co-star Vicki Gunvalson, her husband David Beador has never been abusive to her. She stuck by that claim during part three of the Season 11 reunion, which aired Monday on Bravo.

During the special, Shannon revealed that Vicki’s claims stem from injuries she sustained to her left shoulder and hip more than two years ago — right after David’s affair. In an effort to shut down the rumors, Shannon relived a dark night during which she had too much to drink. Buzzed and upset, the “RHOC” star said she ran nine blocks home from a restaurant leaving behind most of her belongings. David followed after hoping to find her before locking himself in their daughter’s bedroom. He refused to open the door, so Shannon attempted to knock it down — hence her injuries.

After divulging the truth to viewers, Shannon launched an attack on Vicki for spreading such a horrific lie. She worried about the ramifications it might have on her children, who may be approached by other kids about it at school and beyond. Shannon then told Vicki once and for all that there is nothing she could do to win her friendship back.

“What you have done — now this is on the show and it’s in the universe, and there will be people who will go up to my children and say, ‘Your father beats your mother,’” Shannon said, crying. “You’re despicable. I will never, ever speak to you again.”

Shannon’s big reveal comes after Vicki claimed she had definitive “proof” that David had been abusive. Following the airing of part 1 of the Season 11 reunion special, fans took to Twitter to comment on the drama. One tweeted that she “wouldn’t be surprised” if Shannon — who shared her and David’s marriage issues openly on “RHOC” — had divulged dark secrets to Vicki. The self-proclaimed O.G. of the O.C. responded, claiming once more that she could prove that it happened.

The drama that unfolded during the “RHOC” reunion and beyond is a stark contrast to Vicki’s outlook during Season 11. In the final episode, she and fellow outsider Kelly Dodd were invited to attend a party thrown by Shannon and Heather Dubrow for Tamra Judge following her win at a fitness competition. Vicki arrived to the party with an apology note in hand, hoping it would heal the wounds between she and Shannon. Instead of forgiving Vicki, Shannon was left feeling wildly unimpressed with her inability to voice her feelings.

After that moment Shannon, Heather and Tamra spent much of their night trying to avoid both Vicki and Kelly. The real drama started later in the night, when Tamra decided to give out gag gifts in the form of shirts with mug shots and fake crimes on them. Vicki was heartbroken after reading hers, which had her convicted of “lying.”

None of the ladies have spoken out about Shannon’s emotional reveal during the “RHOC” Season 11 reunion at this time.
