Although Galaxy S2 users have been awaiting news of the OS, the update is coming at least one month earlier than expected.

Galaxy S2, with its 4.3 16M-color Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touchscreen of WVGA (480 x 800 pixel) resolution, TouchWiz 4 launcher, 16/32GB internal storage and 8 mega pixel wide-angle lens autofocus camera with LED flash, face, smile and blink detection, has already amazed its users and reviewers. Now with this OS update, S2 will surely fetch more smartphone enthusiasts.

Meanwhile, rumors about the launch of S3 are gaining momentum. S3 is expected to carry the S2's torch and become the best Android phone on the market.

Once updated with Ice Cream Sandwich, which is known as Google's most ambitious release to date, S2 is expected to offer great competition to all existing and forthcoming smartphones and will indeed take a large bite out of the market share of other smartphones and could be even considered the industry benchmark.
