Hardcore Samsung fans have some exciting news here. Samsung Galaxy S2, which is known as the best Android smartphone yet, is going to get Ice Cream Sandwich update on March 1.

Eldar Murtazin, the 'mobile detective' as well as editor-in-chief at the Mobile-Review, has tweeted information about the Ice Cream Sandwich update schedule for Samsung Galaxy S2. Although Galaxy S2 users have been awaiting news of the OS, the update is coming at least one month earlier than expected.

Murtazin said that the date of the upgrade will depend on the user's country and on the network operators. He added that the details will be available as an update over the air or by utilizing the Kies software of Samsung.
