Dylan O’Brien shed his Stiles Stilinski persona from “Teen Wolf” and gave life to CIA agent Mitch Rapp in the newest teaser photo for the upcoming movie “American Assassin.”

Lionsgate gave fans a glimpse at O’Brien as the protagonist of “American Assassin,” the movie adaptation of Vince Flynn’s 15-book series about a counterterrorism operative. The photo of O’Brien as Rapp was posted on the movie’s official Twitter account on Monday, Sept. 12. Check out the still below!

The 25-year-old “Maze Runner” star plays CIA black ops agent Rapp who is trained by Cold War veteran Stan Hurley (Michael Keaton). Rapp and Hurley are enlisted by CIA Deputy Director Irene Kennedy (Sanaa Lathan) to investigate a string of random attacks on both military and civilian targets. After finding a pattern in the attacks, they team up with a Turkish agent (Shiva Negar) to stop an operative (Taylor Kitsch) attempting to start a war in the Middle East, according to MTV.

“American Assassin” is directed by Michael Cuesta and adapted to film by Stephen Schiff based on Flynn’s 2010 New York Times bestselling book of the same title. The film, which is currently shooting in Europe, has not been given a release date.

Meanwhile, O’Brien will be returning for the sixth and final season of MTV’s “Teen Wolf.” However, showrunner Jeff Davis recently hinted that he might not appear much in the series.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, he dished that “Teen Wolf” Season 6’s villains, the Ghost Riders, will abduct people and erase them from their loved one’s memories. When the supernatural drama returns this November, O’Brien’s character Stiles will be one of their first victims. “They each realize that something huge is missing in their life, and they come to this eventual conclusion it might be a person,” Davis told the publication of Stiles’ family and friends.

But it looks like there’s one person who won’t forget Stiles. Based on the script of “Teen Wolf” Season 6, episode 1, Lydia (Holland Roden) will hold on to her memories of him and may even share a sweet moment with Stiles.

Catch O’Brien when “Teen Wolf” Season 6 premieres Nov. 15 at 9 p.m. ET on MTV.
