Fox’s “Sleepy Hollow” is continuing its fight against all things evil in the rebooted Season 4. After Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) died last season, her partner and fellow Witness Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison) will move to Washington, D.C. where he will meet another witness and his new partner, Diana (Janina Gavankar).

TVLine released an exclusive image of the new partners hunting monsters. Diana looks shocked while Crane scrunches up his features with a look of determination. The demon fighting duo are surrounded by books. No doubt these books belong to a supernatural archive kept in the capital and catalogued by Jake Wells (Jerry MacKinnon).

The Season 4 premiere will see Crane and Abbie’s sister Jenny (Lyndie Greenwood) search for the second Witness. However, the Fox series will waste little time in introducing Secret Service agent and mother of one Diana. Of course, Abbie Mills’ death will still weigh heavily on the former professor. But viewers shouldn’t expect him to wallow and tear his hair at the loss of the lieutenant. According to Tom Mison, it isn’t his style.

Instead, Abbie’s death will make Crane and Jenny even more determined in their mission.

The good news is that two familiar faces will be back in “Sleepy Hollow” in Season 4. John Noble will reprise his role as Henry Parish/the Sin Eater/Ichabod’s son and the Headless Horseman also joins him in the upcoming season.

Betsy Ross (Nikki Reed), Sophie Foster (Jessica Camacho and Daniel Reynolds (Lance Gross) will no longer be seen on the Fox series.

Season 4’s main villain will be an eccentric billionaire named Malcolm Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies).

“Sleepy Hollow” Season 4 premieres in 2017 on Fox.
