Taran Killam of Saturday Night Live can do more than write a sketch.

In a hilarious behind-the-scenes video, Killam, 29, proves that with a furry top, the right dance moves and perfectly timed lip-synching, he, too, can belt out Call Your Girlfriend by Swedish pop star Robyn.

It's 4:30 in the morning, on writing night. Katy Perry's our host and we're very excited because Robyn's the musical guest. So instead of writing a sketch, we're gonna re-create her video for 'Call Your Girlfriend,' Killam says, before playing the song.

Killam was joined by several SNL writers and actors, including Bobby Moynihan, Abby Elliot and Vanessa Bayer. Moynihan even provided a strobe-light effect (courtesy of a flashlight) from the office door, as Killam performed the Robyn video, move by move.

On Monday night, Killam, who is in his second season with SNL as a featured cast member, took to Twitter to deliver the special video.

Want to see what my job's like? A peek at writing night, he wrote.

The video has since been viewed by more than 14,000 people on Killam's YouTube channel.

Killam, has not been shy about his love for Robyn. On Friday, during a rehearsal for SNL, Killam also took to Twitter to write about the Swedish pop star.

Got to meet Robyn. She's the coolest. Pretty sure she's also the Childlike Empress from The Neverending Story. #SNL #IloveCallYourGirlfriend, Killam wrote.

Saturday Night Live this past weekend drew a 4.8 rating, the highest metered-market figure in more than one month, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The episode featured Perry, 27, as a first time host, as the singer delivered the laughs via Pippa Middleton, Christina Aguilera, Florence and the Machine, a Hello Kitty obsessed college student in J-Pop America Fun Time Now and playing Andy Samberg's best friend (alongside Matt Damon and Val Kilmer) in a digital short. Alec Baldwin also made a surprise appearance on the Weekend Update segment, appearing as an American Airlines pilot with an special apology (to himself, Alec Baldwin).

On the show, Robyn, 32, performed her hits Dancing on My Own and Call Your Girlfriend, complete with spandex pants, platform shoes and wicked dance moves.
