Universal Pictures has unleashed a new and extended trailer for Snow White and the Huntsman, one of two Snow White films out this year.
And the new trailer does not disappoint, thanks to Charlize Theron delivering more haunting lines (and a creepy bathing scene, in which she is nearly nude) and more clips of Kristen Stewart speaking.
What does she want from me? Stewart, as Snow White, whispers in the new trailer.
Running just under three minutes, the new trailer sheds more light onto the film's dark tone. If the creepy forest clips are any indication of the rest of the film, fans are in for a suspense-filled ride.
The new trailer comes just off the heels of the cast's weekend panel at WonderCon.
Everybody has an idea of [the evil queen] . . . and there's something nice about f**king with that idea . . . Picasso had his blue period, and this is my bitch period, Theron said at the panel.
Meanwhile, Stewart confessed to being hurt on the London, England set a lot, thanks to the physically demanding action scenes.
It was fun. That was one of things that I was initially really attracted to. What drives her is just interesting. It's not cool for me to have inexplicable brawn and just shatter men in armor . . . I got to jump off cliffs and ride horses, she said at the panel (via HitFix).
From the looks of the trailers released so far, Snow White and the Huntsman is most definitely not in the same circle as this year's other Snow White film, Mirror Mirror. Starring Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen and Lily Collins (Phil's daughter) as the titled raven haired heroine, Mirror Mirror is more of a comedy than a dark, dramatic story.
So is there a feud between the two Snow White actresses? Don't believe the hype, says Collins.
it's funny, I mean, they are so different, they couldn't be more different . . . Kirsten and I have laughed about the fact that we're apparently 'rivals.' And it's just funny to us, Collins recently told Access Hollywood.
