Ubisoft first announced South Park: The Fractured But Whole at its pre-E3 press conference at the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles, in which South Park’s co-creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone offered some details on the game.
Stone said “The game picks up where The Stick of Truth left off. It’s really about who you are. You define who you are in South Park.”
Two gameplay clips showed how you take on the role as the new kid in South Park, hoping to join Cartman’s super-hero group.
Ubisoft also said that anyone who pre-orders South Park: The Fractured But Whole will get a free copy of its predecessor, The Stick of Truth on Xbox One, PS4 or PC.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole, is set for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in Q1 2017.

Back in September, Ubisoft announced South Park: The Fractured But Whole will launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, calendar Q1 2017. In a blog post, the company said: “The development teams wants to make sure the game experience meets the high expectations of fans and the additional time will help them achieve this goal.”
South Park: The Fractured But Whole battle system has been overhauled
Sure the combat in South Park: The Stick of Truth was fun, but its turn-based combat wasn’t very strategic. In South Park: The Fractured But Whole.,you’ll be able to move your team members into position, using the environment to your advantage. With certain powers, you can even move your enemies into position. In addition, you can also manipulate time. Ubisoft said "The new kid's farts are so powerful, they can shatter the fabric of time, letting you change the order of attacks or skip enemies' turns altogether. From a tactical perspective, there’s going to be a lot more to consider this time around."
