‘Star’ Season 1 Spoilers: Episode 6 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Infamous’? [VIDEO]

Star is no stranger to controversy, but it is starting to look like her scandalous ways may become her downfall.

Last viewers saw, the girls successfully performed a show, but Hunter turned his back on Star after she ran up the bill on his credit card. After leaving his house on bad terms, Star is photographed by the paparazzi and on “Star” Season 1, episode 6, “Infamous,” the aspiring artist will try to make her 15 minutes last.

“When Star (Jude Demorest), Simone (Brittany O’Grady) and Alex (Ryan Destiny) are invited to perform at a fancy charity event, Jahil (Benjamin Bratt) puts Alex in the lead and strongly encourages Star to ditch Hunter (Chad James Buchanan),” the Fox synopsis teases.

In the promo clip for the upcoming episode, Star tries to bring the group some notoriety by posting a video of them online singing. The tabloids, however, are too focused on her new relationship with a famous athlete to fixate to the group’s talent, which may explain why Alex seems annoyed about all the attention Star is getting.

Although the girls are seen performing at the charity event, it is uncertain whether the crowd is intrigued by their talent or Star’s romance. Later on, the group is seen at rehearsal where Simone complains the Jahil is late again. In the last episode of the Fox series, viewers saw the manager get taken by two men and thrown into a warehouse.

“Ultimately, Star still manages to be the star, while Jahil dodges a debt,” the synopsis says. Whether it is her voice or her scandal, it looks like Star will still find a way to shine.

Although Jahil’s dodges his debt, a gun is seen in the warehouse where he is being held and by the end of the promo, Carlotta (Queen Latifah) can be seen emotionally saying “no” several times with tears in her eyes. Is Jahil Dead or could someone else have gotten hurt?

“Star” airs on Wednesdays at 9:01 p.m. EST on Fox.
