Tamar Braxton’s relationship with Vince Herbet, but being fired from “The Real” in May 2016 pushed them over the edge, TMZ wrote in an exclusive report Thursday. The singer was depressed for months after being let go from the morning talk show and her marriage to Herbert apparently wasn’t able to withstand it, causing an “irreparable fracture.”

As shown on their WEtv reality show, “Tamar & Vince,” the couple didn’t always have the most solid relationship. But three months ago is when they reportedly split for good, with Braxton moving out of their home.

The sketchy part is Braxton and Herbert were spotted in New York two weeks ago and they were acting very much like a couple. The general assumption is they were putting on an act to fool the masses to promote Season 5 of their reality show.

While Braxton is apparently nursing the end of her nearly 10-year marriage, she has a new home to focus on. The star is reportedly dropping $15,000 for a 2-bedroom luxury condo in Beverly Hills. She can enjoy amenities like an indoor and outdoor pool, five gyms, a restaurant with a free bar, spa and a screening room, according to TMZ.

Braxton announced her split from the music producer Wednesday.

“At this time we can confirm Ms. Braxton has made an extremely difficult decision and has filed for divorce from Vincent Herbert,” Braxton's representative told People. “Collectively, their son Logan and his well-being during this extremely unfortunate process is most important. We ask that everyone respects her privacy during this incredibly difficult time. She appreciates everyone’s love and prayers.”

A different theory for the split is that the 40-year-old singer lost respect for Herbert after her career stumbled, a source told the blog MediaTakeOut.com Wednesday. That includes her album “Bluebird of Happiness,” which flopped.

“Vince [Herbert] and I work really, really close together and this is something that I'm most passionate about. This is the one thing we argue the most about,” Braxton said on the Breakfast Club radio show October 5. “Throughout this whole process, I've discovered what’s important to me.”

Braxton and Herbert are parents to Logan, 4.
