Big banks will start repaying government bailout funds on Wednesday, The Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The banks include: JPMorgan Chase & Co , Morgan Stanley and American Express Co , the Journal reported.

The firms received $25 billion, $10 billion and $3.4 billion, respectively, the Journal said.
