Tyler Posey recently opened up about his first celebrity relationship which, believe it or not, occurred when he was just 9-years-old. The “Teen Wolf” star says before getting his big break he was “boyfriend and girlfriend” with a very famous pop singer.

According to ET, Posey's first Hollywood girlfriend was none other than Miley Cyrus. The two met on the set of "Doc," which Posey starred in alongside the "Wrecking Ball" singer's father, Billy Ray Cyrus. Miley was just 7-years-old at the time.

The MTV series actor said he was "basically the only kid on set," so it was nice to have Miley around on occasion. He recalled being drawn to her "loud, sweet and funny" personality, saying she was "just a really cool kid." Eventually their relationship evolved beyond a friendship and the two dated for nearly two years. In time, they shared their first kiss.

"We were so damn young...I would get excited when we would hold hands," he said.

Their relationship didn't last. After two years together Miley and Posey decided to call it quits. Posey, now 23, went on to date Seana Gorlick, whom he met a few years later in middle school. The couple dated for 10 long years before Posey finally popped the question. In October 2014, they decided to call off their engagement.

Miley, 22, has been involved in several serious -- and not-so-serious -- relationships since dating the "Teen Wolf" actor. In May 2012, after two years together, she and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth announced that they were engaged. They split in September the following year. She then dated model and aspiring actor Patrick Schwarzenegger. They decided to go their separate ways in April. She has since been linked to Victoria's Secret angel Stella Maxwell, though neither have confirmed nor denied that they are a couple.
