Rapper T.I. issued a cryptic tweet after a bogus Facebook post that supposedly came from his wife, VH1 reality star Tameka “Tiny” Harris, went viral Monday. T.I. took to Twitter to share his message.

He posted an emoji of a crown to caption a quote. It read: “I hate when people assume s--- cause of something they’ve seen on social media. If you want to know ask, that way when you find out the truth you won’t look/feel like an a--.” The tweet was liked hundreds of times by his 7.04 million followers.

Earlier Monday, Tiny clarified there was a phony Facebook message that went viral. “Hey guys that Facebook page is not my page,” she tweeted. “It is fake. Not sure how they got verified but we are dealing with it now to be taking down.” By Tuesday, the page was removed.

Before Facebook deleted the phony page, an impersonator claimed T.I. was jealous Tiny danced with former boxer Floyd Mayweather at Mariah Carey’s Halloween party in Los Angeles. “When a woman's fed up,” the hoaxer wrote Sunday. “For years I've been the one getting hurt, but now that a lil video done surfaced with me having a friendly dance he's mad?? Why? Yes, he's my husband but damn can I not have a male friend?!”

The poser continued: “Tip can't be the only male friend I associate myself with just like I know I ain't the only Female he associate hisself with so... It is what it is.”

The message seemed authentic since video from Carey’s party of Tiny grinding on Mayweather went viral the week before.

Despite speculation about the status of their relationship, Tiny and T.I. welcomed a baby girl, Heiress, in March. She is the fifth child for Tiny and the seventh for T.I. He has two sons from a previous relationship.
