Search giant Google said, Monday, it has bought Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion, an announcement that shook up the technology industry and caught rivals napping.
The acquisition, Google's largest ever (the previous largest acquisition was purchase of DoubleClick for $3.1 billion in 2007), has taken the Wall Street by surprise and currently a big debate is raging on whether Google made the right move by buying Motorola at 63 percent premium.
