This summer was expected to be a busy transfer season for Arsenal, and so far there has been plenty of talk about players coming and going.

As Gervinho has joined the team, talks have increased for the services of Nicklas Bendtner. The latest from the Daily Mirror has Bendtner drawing interest from Bundesliga club Hamburg, while Borussia Dortmund doesn't plan to pursue the Danish forward.

The Times reported that Everton centre back Phil Jagielka remains an Arsenal target, causing Everton to pursue Scott Dann of Birmingham. The publication also reported that West Ham is looking to move goalkeeper Robert Green to West Bromwich to sign unattached forward Eidur Gudjonsen. West Ham also might be loaning Scott Parker to Chelsea, and moving injury-plagued Kieron Dyer to Queens Park Rangers.

Metro reported today that Liverpool will pursue Manchester City defender Wayne Bridge after failing to bring in Leighton Baines from Everton.

Tottenham might be stepping up efforts to sell Luka Modric to make a £12.3m offer for Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero, according to Daily Mail.

Finally, the story that doesn't seem to go away is Inter Milan's Wesley Sneijder still in talks with Manchester United. Goal.com has the offer at £35 million.
