President Barack Obama has criticized Donald Trump's candidacy ever since the real estate magnate announced his bid for the nation's top office. With Trump's campaign taking away the control of his Twitter account, the president could not resist rubbing it in, it seems.

“In the last two days, they had so little confidence in his self-control, they said: ‘We’re just going to take away your Twitter.’ Now, if somebody can't handle a Twitter account, they can’t handle the nuclear code, If somebody starts tweeting at three in the morning ’cause SNL made fun of you, then you can’t handle the nuclear code,” Obama said while campaigning at a Florida rally for Hillary Clinton on Sunday.

The New York Times on Sunday reported that Trump will now have all his tweets pre-screened by his campaign staff. The candidate has been constantly in the news because of his tweets such as the ones he posted about Alicia Machado.

The tweets were even brought up by rival Hillary Clinton during the third presidential debate. This is not the first time Obama and Trump have been going at it. In 2012, Trump raised doubts about Obama's birth certificate.

Trump's tweets have been controversial for long. He has gone after celebrities and even indulged in body shaming. What remains to be seen is his response, which most probably will be posted on Twitter, once the election results are declared.
