Twilight star Nikki Reed has transformed her red carpet style from sweet and simple to decidedly glamorous.

The brunette beauty first entered the Hollywood scene in 2003, when she was just 15-years-old, with the hit film Thirteen. Not only did Reed star as the rebellious teenager opposite Rachel Evan Wood, but she also co-wrote the screenplay with director Catherine Hardwicke.

At that time, Reed's style was rather simple. She opted for longer-cut dresses and floral prints.

Then, as Reed's star grew, so did her wardrobe.

The now 23-year-old actress began experimenting with bolder red carpet looks - like plunging necklines, feathers, and sequins. She has morphed into a decidedly glamorous fashionista, but does so with such ease and grace that it is sometimes easy to forget she is a famous Hollywood starlet.

It is this poise and charm that most likely attracted musician Paul McDonald to the lovely Reed (that and her stunning good looks). Reed met McDonald at the red carpet premiere of Little Red Riding Hood while he was a contestant on American Idol.

The couple wed in October in a Malibu-ranch affair. The fete was held outside in the desert, where blankets were strewn about so guests could gaze at the stars.

A month in, Reed and McDonald are blissfully happy. I love everything about it. When you're married to someone as wonderful as Paul, you can't pick one thing, the newlywed told Us Weekly. That's the best part about it. It's like everything.

I don't want to spend a single day without him, she added.

Reed claims that before meeting McDonald, she had not been on a date in a very long time.

[I] hadn't been on a date in a year and a half. My dad said it jokingly and lovingly but he said, 'It's kind of weird that you're 23 and you don't date at all.'

Now, the stunning new bride is thinking about her future with her husband and even talking babies.

I'm not getting pregnant for a long time, Reed said to People magazine. One day [I want to], it's just not what I'm thinking about right now, but I do. I'm young; he's young [and] we want to be best friends and travel and do stuff.

The couple recently recorded a song together, titled Now That I've Found You, that is now available on iTunes. Reed penned the lyrics herself.

I've experimented with writing lyrics for other people in the past. He recorded the music, on the way back from Europe, a week and a half ago. I just sat and wrote lyrics to his music.
