Twitter burst into laughter when President Trump officially announced that he had appointed New York Jets owner Woody Johnson as ambassador to the United Kingdom Thursday.

Johnson is the heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical company's fortune and bought the Jets for over $600 million in 2000. A long time donor to Republican politicians, Johnson was the finance chairman of Jeb Bush's failed 2016 campaign before throwing his support behind Trump, an old associate. His family's wealth was estimated to be $6.3 billion by Forbes in 2015.

Users on Twitter, however, were quick to chuckle at his euphemism-laden name.

A common theme was other fake names that users suggested Johnson "beat out" in the process, including a reference to the famous scene in "Monty Python and the Holy Grail."

Fans of the New York Jets celebrated Johnson's expected departure from the team. The unpopular owner has long been seen as the reason for the team's poor performances in recent years.

However, Jets fans shouldn't celebrate too much, as he will be replaced by his brother Chris Johnson.

"The New York Jets have been an integral part of our family since 2000, but this is a unique opportunity for Woody. His patriotism and commitment to our country have always been a passion of his," Christopher Johnson said in a statement, according to the NY Daily News.

Trump mocked Johnson when he was the National Finance Chairman for Jeb Bush's 2016 Presidential campaign saying that if Johnson had endorsed him, the Jets would have made it to the playoffs.

"Woody Johnson, owner of the NYJets, is @JebBush’s finance chairman. If Woody would’ve been w/me, he would’ve been in the playoffs, at least!" Trump tweeted.
