It seemed Secretary of State Hillary Clinton fell asleep during President Barack Obama’s speech in Myanmar when she appeared to nod off. The public had plenty to say about it through Twitter and Internet comments.

The sleepy photo went viral on Wednesday after a CNN camera caught the secretary with her eyes closed when the president was speaking at the University of Yangon Monday.

According to Mediaite, Clinton seemed engaged in the president’s speech when the camera panned on her 15 minutes into it, but toward the end, she was spotted nodding off.

Obama made history as the first U.S. president to visit Myanmar (aka Burma) and Cambodia.

“You’re taking a journey that has the potential to inspire so many people,” Obama said in Yangon.

The president drew both praise and criticism in some quarters for his visit since both countries still hold political prisoners and Myanmar has not been able to contain ethnic violence, The Blaze reported, but Obama wasn't the only one people were talking about.

Jet-lag seemed to have gotten the best of the sleepy Clinton, but it didn’t stop people going to social media and commenting on the nodding secretary.

@Mad_Hatmaker wrote, “Finally some peace in Gaza. Good work Sen. Clinton. Good to know those extra Zzzzz during the POTUS' speech paid off.”

@Miller51550 tweeted, “DON'T WE ALL WISH.. we could just TURN HIM OFF, TUNE HIM OUT? Hillary Clinton Falls Asleep During Obama’s Speech.”

Many seemed to take Clinton's side, according to comments on Web Pro News, saying she must have been tired and should get a break.

“I was just wondering how she AND Obama find the stamina to do as much as they do. She’s just tired Leave her alone!”

“Mrs. Clinton probably was just tired!! The media is alway trying to make something out nothing!!!”
