At least 6 militants were killed in when a U.S. drone aircraft fired several missiles into Pakistan's South Waziristan early on Monday, local intelligence officials said.
It was the second such strike in the region in less than a week, said a Reuters report.
A senior al Qaeda operative, Ilyas Kashmiri, was reported to have been killed in a similar strike in the region on June 2.
