By now you must have heard that Vanessa Bryant, the stunning wife of Los Angeles Lakers player Kobe Bryant, filed for divorce from the NBA star on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences.

TMZ has reported that sources have said Kobe Bryant has been cheating on his wife, again, and that he doesn't want to lose her.

If you recall, Kobe Bryant publicly admitted in 2003 that he had extramarital affairs. This was around the time that huge sexual assault scandal broke two years after the two got married.

Kobe Bryant was arrested on suspicion of raping a Colorado hotel employee, but the charges were dropped, as he denied committing sexual assault. Kobe Bryant did however, admitted to committing adultery.

Vanessa Bryant stuck with him through the scandal and admitted that her husband made a mistake.

Vanessa Bryant and Kobe Bryant share two daughters Natalia, 8, and Gianna, 5. They have both requested joint custody.

A judgment regarding the divorce is expected next year and seems as if Vanessa Bryant could end up being one of those $100 million wives.

CNBC sports business reporter Darren Rovell has estimated that Kobe Bryant is worth $360 million.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Vanessa Bryant's mother has said that the couple didn't sign a prenuptial agreement.

She just came home one day and said something to the effect that Kobe didn't want a prenup, that he loved her too much, Sofia Urbieta Laine said in a 2005 interview.

And since Vanessa Bryant and Kobe Bryant didn't sign a pre-nup, she is entitled to half his money. That could mean she gets a cool $180 million if the estimated $360 is actually what Kobe Bryant is worth.

That hefty sum would put Vanessa Bryant, 29, in ranks of wealthy divorced women such as Juanita Jordan and Elin Nordegren who have both reportedly landed more than $100 million in divorce settlements from their ex-husbands.

According to Ace Showbiz, Michael Jordan agreed to pay his ex-wife, Juanita, an estimated $168 million.

Michael Jordan reportedly met his ex-wife on a blind date in 1984 and got married five years later. They filed for divorce in 2002, citing irreconcilable differences and had reconciled after, according to Ace Showbiz. The two later filed for divorce on Dec. 29, 2006.

On the other hand, it has reported that Nordegren's divorce settlement with ex-husband pro golfer Tiger Woods included the division of property and assets. Though the sum was undisclosed it has been estimated that Nordegren could have received as low as $100 million to a high of five times that amount.
