Over 700 Wal-Mart locations will allow customers to purchase Time Warner cable, broadband and phone service plans, the companies said on Tuesday.

The deal is meant to offer cross-selling opportunities, said Time Warner Cable, the second-largest cable operator in the U.S.

Wal-Mart electronics salespeople will ask customers whether they want to sign up for Time Warner's cable, broadband or digital phone services, said a statement issued by companies. Customers can select packages of their choice through in-store kiosks at the Wal-Mart Connection Center.

This partnership with Wal-Mart provides customers better access to their entertainment and communications needs with just one stop, making our customers' lives even easier, he added.
