There are 24 teaser videos for “American Horror Story” Season 6 — and only one of them is real.

The sixth installment in the FX horror anthology premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 14, and fans are entering without any clues as to what the season will be about. No theme, or even cast members, has been officially confirmed by the network. But that’s only built up the hype.

FX CEO John Landgraf revealed at the Television Critics Association summer press tour last month that creator Ryan Murphy thought it would be fun to keep the Season 6 theme a mystery. In order to promote the new episodes, the network came up with a campaign to trick viewers with trailers that are “misdirects.” Stephanie Gibbons, head of marketing at FX, elaborated on that to the Hollywood Reporter this month.

“I felt we would play on two aspects of the human helix: Desire to know, the curiosity to find out what you don’t know; and perhaps more importantly, the notion of how powerful withholding is to the human psyche,” she explained. “Often wanting is more fulfilling than having.”

“American Horror Story” fans will finally get some answers when Season 6 premieres on Wednesday. Until them, check out all 24 teaser videos for the mysterious sixth season:
