“Westworld” has decided to bring back Peter Abernathy (Louis Herthum) into the fold, and he will even be a series regular for Season 2.

As exciting as the prospect of returning to the show might be, Herthum told Screener that he still has “no clue” what’s in store for his character. “That’s just the way the show operates,” he said.

However, Herthum suspects that his character won’t be Peter anymore and will instead be a completely different host, given the knowledge that he has obtained. “You know, he’s carrying around 35 years of data, so there’s actually very little space on his hard drive left. He only has a small semblance of a personality. So in the future, he may not even be Peter anymore, he could get wiped clean,” he said. “They could make him this socially inept character, or it could turn out he’s been under the control of Charlotte and Sizemore, who knows?”

Personally, Herthum said he would love to see Peter out of the park and out in the real world. But when it comes to “Westworld,” nobody knows for sure what “real” is anymore. “But you know, a lot of my scenes in Season 1 I was naked. So regardless of what happens I’ll probably be naked again!” he jokingly added.

As for his onscreen daughter Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood), she is going through a major shift next season. It was revealed during the Season 1 finale that she is actually the villain Wyatt, so Dolores might embrace that side more.

“I’m really curious to see the unleashed version of her that we caught a glimpse of at the very end of the finale,” Wood told Entertainment Weekly. “Those final seconds, I think we were seeing a completely different side to her, completely different programming and completely off of her leash, so I don’t think she will be the same person; she’ll be an evolved version.”

“Westworld” Season 2 premieres on HBO in 2018.
