Ashton Kutcher has been spending some quality time in Europe with writer-director Lorene Scafaria and many are speculating that the two might be a new couple.

Kutcher has been snapping photos of he and Scafaria in Rome, along with another gentleman, Kutcher's business partner Matt Mazzant. Roman holiday with homies, Kutcher posted on Twitter with a photo of him and Scafaria, and Mazzant in between.

Us Weekly reported that Kutcher and Scafaria headed to the town of Pisa for Christmas and rode around in a Porsche visiting all of the popular tourist spots. They were spotted having a romantic lunch at Pizzeria Trattoria Toscana.

They held hands, said a source. They shared spaghetti, and he paid.

Who is Lorene Scafaria?

The pretty brunette from Holmdel, New Jersey, is an accomplished screenwriter and singer. She wrote the alternative hit Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist and is currently working on a comedy Seeking a Friend for the End of the World starring Steve Carell and Kiera Knightly. Her album, Laughter and Forgetting, was released in April 2010 and is available on iTunes.

She was reportedly dating The O.C. actor Adam Brody. In her Twitter photo, Brody is pictured in the shot. She is supposedly good friends with Diablo Cody (Juno) and Dana Fox (What Happens in Vegas).

She met Kutcher before his marriage ended with Demi Moore when he read for a role in the upcoming movie. A source told Us, Ashton started seeing her while each was in a relationship.

Despite the fact that reps for both deny any relationship, many have noted the striking resemblance between Scafaria and Moore.

They were also spotted together on Dec. 9 and 10 at the Yellowstone Club Ski Resort snowboarding and playing shuffleboard.

Meanwhile, as Kutcher frolicked around Italy, ex-wife Demi Moore was seen partying with her daughter Rumer in Turks and Caicos. The 49-year-old was spotted at the exclusive Parrot Cay resort on Christmas Eve. She danced up a storm at the poolside bar. Demi was dancing seductively for all the guys [at the bar] and they were going nuts, one spy said. Another added, Demi could do 'The Wiggles' dance and still look hot. People were calling her SHD for Single Hot Demi.
