The “Will & Grace” revival is coming back to NBC this Thursday to deliver another dose of the fab four’s eccentric humor. However, episode 9 won’t just be about Will (Eric McCormack), Grace (Debra Messing), Karen (Megan Mullally) and Jack (Sean Hayes) as very familiar faces from the past seasons are scheduled to make a comeback this week.

The synopsis for “Will & Grace” Season 9, episode 9, titled “There’s Something About Larry,” hints at the return of Tim Bagley’s Larry from the third season of the show. Larry is an old friend of Will and Jack who appeared in a total of 14 episodes in the past alongside his committed partner Joe, played by actor Jerry Levine.

Interestingly, when Larry shows up in episode 9, he is no longer in love with Joe. He’ll even drop a bombshell when he reveals that he is head over heels for Will. It’s not clear yet how Will is going to respond to Larry’s confession. However, a promo still shared by Spoiler TV online shows that Grace will be so shocked by the news that she’ll cough up whatever she’s munching on when Larry tells her about his feelings for Will.

Another familiar face that will make a cameo in “Will & Grace” Season 9, episode 9 is Val Bassett, who is portrayed by“Saturday Night Live” alum and renowned Hollywood funny lady Molly Shannon. The titular duo’s upstairs neighbor with psychotic tendencies will be involved in a storyline that revolves around Jack’s first day as a Lyft driver.

The synopsis mentions that Jack will accidentally hit Val on his first day as a Lyft driver. Karen will then step in to bail out Jack, but things will take a different turn later on and Jack will be the one to bail Karen out. The promo stills do not show a prison cell, so Jack may not be in some serious trouble when episode 9 airs.

It can be noted that Val was formerly a stalker of Jack, and it appears that she actually did not stop idolizing him ever since he did his one-man “Jack 2000” show back in Season 3. In one promotional still, Val is seen rolling some tape all over Jack’s body so he won’t be able to leave her pad. In another still, Karen is seen trying to negotiate with Val about the accident that happened earlier.

“Will & Grace” Season 9, episode 9, “There’s Something About Larry,” airs Thursday, Jan. 11, at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
