X Men: Apocalypse
"X-Men: Apocalypse" will arrive in theaters on May 27, 2016. The first trailer for the marvel movie was released on Friday. 20th Century Fox

The end of days could be upon us Memorial Day 2016 and it will be up to the X-Men to stop it. The first trailer for the upcoming Marvel film "X-Men: Apocalypse" was released on Friday giving fans not only a first look at the movie, but also new characters and the super villain Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac).

Here are six things you may have missed in the first trailer:

1. Sophie Turner As Jean Grey

Many recognize Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark from HBO's "Game of Thrones," but in "X-Men: Apocalypse" she'll be playing Jean Grey, the mutant with telepathic and telekinetic powers. This will be the first time a young Jean Grey is shown in the films and the trailer kicks off with her awakening from a vision of the end of the world.

2. Apocalypse The First Mutant

It is believed that Apocalypse/En Sabah Nur is the first ever mutant and he is referred to as some kind of "ancient being" in the trailer. In the post-credits scene of the previous "X-Men" film, "X-Men: Days Of Future Past," Apocalypse was shown in ancient Egypt where people were chanting for him as he used telekinesis to build the pyramids, while four horsemen were shown on a hill. This character goes back a long time and the X-Men are going to have their hands full.

3. New Young Mutants

The new trailer is loaded with new mutants and different versions of some we've seen before. Jubilee (Lana Condor), the mutant with the powers to generate pyrotechnic energy with her hands, is shown, as well as a first look at villain Psylocke (Olivia Munn). The characters Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee) and Storm (Alexandra Shipp) have both been seen in movies before, but never in their younger years. Halle Berry played Storm in the previous "X-Men" films, while Alan Cumming portrayed Nightcrawler in "X2."

4. Apocalypse's Accomplices

CIA agent Moira MacTaggert (Rose Byrne) tells Charles and Scott about Apocalypse in the trailer. "Wherever this being was, he would always have four followers he would imbue with powers," she sauys. "Like the four horsemen of the apocolypse. Did he get that one from the bible?" Scott repsonds. "Or the Bible got it from him," MacTaggert answers. While they're talking, fans can see brief glimpses of Psylocke, Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Angel (Ben Hardy) and Storm.

5. Apocalypse's Plan

The trailer shows Apocalypse revealing his plan to destroy to the world humans created and make a new one for mutants. "Everything they built will fall and from the ashes of their world, we'll build a better one," he says. Explosions are shown and destruction is brought to New York City, where a bridge is getting torn apart and fires spread throughout.

6. Professor X Bald

In the final moments of the trailer, a door opens and we get a first look at James McAvoy sporting the bald look that Professor X has become known for. Especially on screen when Patrick Stewart played Professor X in the previous "X-Men" films.
