Olivia Munn will showcase some extraordinary martial arts skills as Psylocke in “X-Men: Apocalypse.” She recently posted a clip on Instagram in which she can be seen performing a rapid sequence of kicks. She is dressed in a white top and black track pants as she practices her kicks. The video is captioned as “oliviamunnFreestyle #latergram.”

Munn’s character Psylocke is a known for hand-to-hand and foot-to-face combat skills, according to Entertainment Weekly. She also possesses the ability to generate telekenises katana and uses her fists to strike. She is immune to telepathic probes and has other powers including precognition, telepathy, mental bolts and illusion generation.

The 35-year-old actress is reportedly excited about the role and praised her character's attributes in a previous interview with the website. “She’s very strong and she’s very lethal and she’s very powerful, and it doesn’t really matter what she’s wearing as long as you have that strength and that presence,” she said.

Munn will be seen wearing a latex costume in the film and during her appearance on the talk show Conan, she said several women helped her to get into it.

“They lube me down and I step into this latex. We did a whole latex fitting,” she said.

“X-Men: Apocalypse” is being shot in Montreal. It is set in the 1980s and centers on an Egyptian villain Apocalypse played by Oscar Isaac. The official storyline of the film has yet to be revealed.

Bryan Singer is directing from the screenplay by Simon Kinberg and other star cast includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Evan Peters, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Lucas Till, Josh Helman, Lana Condor, and Ben Hardy. John Ottman has supplied the music and Newton Thomas Sigel has done the cinematography.

The film opens next May 27.
