"X-Men: Days of Future Past" director Bryan Singer and his best friend of 25 years, Michelle Clunie, star of "Make It or Break It" and "Queer As Folk," are having a baby together, according to Hollywood Reporter. Singer, who is gay, told Out that he was romantically involved with Clunie when he was 23 years old.

Singer was recently hit with a lawsuit by Michael Egan, who accused Singer and other industry execs of sexual abuse when the actor was a teenager. Egan has recently dropped those suits. In the wake of those accusations, Singer was given the green light to direct “X-Men: Apocalypse."

"Mother and father are both very excited about the upcoming birth and look forward to co-parenting the child together," Singer's rep said in a statement. "The pair have been planning this baby for years and have been trying for the last two."

Singer and Clunie's baby is due in 2015.
