Pixar's animated movie "Luca" released on Disney+ last week, and it looks like the audience loved the adventures of the titular young sea monster.

Critics and social media users have flooded the internet with positive reviews of the movie. "Luca" received an 89% score on Rotten Tomatoes and 7.6 ratings on IMDb.

Disney have always been in the forefront of animated storytelling, and it seems, following the success of "Luca," the audience will see an array of such movies.

Here are the top 10 upcoming Disney movies:

"Ron's Gone Wrong"

What happens if you get a robot version of your smartphone that hangs around with you? Well, this is the storyline of Sarah Smith's "Ron's Gone Wrong," which is slated to release on Oct. 22.

"Encanto"

Actor Ben Stiller is part of this Disney animated movie that will take you on a magical family adventure. "Encanto" is helmed by Byron Howard and Jared Bush. The musical animation is slated to release on Nov. 24, this year.

"Night At The Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again"

Remember the "Night at the Museum" live-action movie franchise? Disney is all set to release its animated sequel titled, "Night At The Museum: Kahmunrah Rises Again." The production of the movie began on Nov. 2, 2020, and it is expected to release later this year.

"Turning Red"

"Turning Red" is slated to release next year on March 11, and it is directed by Domee Shi. It is a coming-of-age movie that follows a teenager, who turns into a giant red panda whenever too excited.

"Lightyear"

"Lightyear" is based on Buzz's character from "Toy Story." Actor Chris Evans will give a voiceover for this animated fantasy adventure. The movie will release on June 17, 2022.

"Bob's Burgers"

The animated sitcom "Bob's Burgers" was originally released on Jan. 9, 2011. However, the movie has been in the development stage since 2017, and the series creator Loren Bouchard confirmed in June that the release date will be announced soon.

"Diary Of A Wimpy Kid"

Disney confirmed in December the "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid" is based on fiction books penned by Jeff Kinney. The animated movie is slated to release later this year.

Untitled Movies

Three more movies are expected to be released under the Walt Disney Studios. Two movies will be created by Walt Disney Animation and the third one by Pixar. Keep watching this space for more updates.
