As Black Friday nears, several retailers have announced when they will not be open for the start of the holiday shopping season. Many retailers are closing their doors for Thanksgiving Day, which has traditionally been the kickoff to the Black Friday shopping holiday to help curb the spread of the coronavirus. Here’s a look at the shopping schedules released by retailers so far.

Walmart

Walmart will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. It will open its doors on Black Friday at 5 a.m. local time. Sales online will start at 7 p.m. EST, Nov. 25.

Target

Target is also closed on Thanksgiving Day, but it will open its stores on Black Friday at 7 a.m. local time. Sales online will kick off at 1 a.m. Nov. 26.

Best Buy

Best Buy will open stores at 5 a.m. on Black Friday and stay open until 10 p.m. Stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, but sales online will start at 1 a.m. Thursday morning.

Kohl’s

Kohl’s will keep its stores closed on Thanksgiving Day but open them back up at 5 a.m. on Nov. 27. It will also start its Black Friday sales online at 1 a.m. EST, Nov. 22.

Lowe’s

Lowe’s will remain closed on Thanksgiving Day but will open stores at 6 a.m. the following day, The Black Friday said. Online sales start at 12 a.m. on Nov. 26.

Sam’s Club

Sam’s Club will also stay closed on Thanksgiving Day, with stores reopening at 7 a.m. on Black Friday. Online sales will open up at 12 a.m. Thanksgiving Day.

JC Penney

JC Penney will open its doors at 5 a.m. on Black Friday as it decided to stay closed on Thanksgiving Day. Its online sales start Nov. 25 through Nov. 28.

Macy’s

Macy’s will also remain closed on Thanksgiving Day, opting instead to open stores at 6 a.m. on the Friday after Thanksgiving. It will start its sales online at 12 a.m. Nov. 26.

GameStop

GameStop will keep stores closed on Nov. 26, opening them back up on Black Friday from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. It will start its online sales event at 9 p.m. EST, Nov. 25.

Home Depot

Home Depot will open stores at 6 a.m. on Black Friday and start its online sales at 12 a.m. that same day. The home improvement retailer will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

Costco

Costco will close on Thanksgiving Day and reopen its wholesale warehouses at 9 a.m. on Black Friday. It will start its online sales at 12 a.m. on Nov. 27.

Office Depot

Office Depot will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and reopen its doors at 8 a.m. on Black Friday. It will kick off its online sales at 12 a.m. on Black Friday.

Dick’s Sporting Goods

Dick’s Sporting Goods will also keep all its stores closed on Nov. 26 but will reopen its doors at 5 a.m. Nov. 27. Online sales will start at 12 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
