2021 Ballon d'Or: Zendaya, Tom Holland, Lionel Messi, More Attend The Event [Watch]

The Ballon d'Or 2021 award ceremony, which was held at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris to recognize the world's best footballers, was attended by Hollywood stars including Zendaya and Tom Holland.

The official Twitter handle shared a video of Zendaya and Holland entering the event separately and walking toward the red carpet. In the one-minute and 17 seconds video, the 25-year-old "The Greatest Showman" actress could be seen walking in with the security, and waving to the crowd while keeping her mask on.

As she reached the red carpet, she handed over the mask to her security, and turned around to pose for photos in her long black gown's back, which was beautifully designed with golden work.

In the same footage, Holland could be seen entering the location and walking toward the red carpet, wearing a black tuxedo and black-framed eyewear.

One of the fans compared Zendaya's look with Dr. Octopus from her upcoming movie, "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which is slated to release on Dec. 10.

"Zendaya referencing Dr. Octopus at the Ballon d’Or ceremony 2021," the fan captioned the photos.

A Twitter user shared a photo of the couple posing together at the event, which was held Monday.

Lionel Messi, who won the Men's Ballon d'Or for the seventh time, arrived at the event with his wife, Antonella Roccuzzo, and three kids - Thiago, 9, Ciro, 3, and Mateo, 6.

While Roccuzzo, 33, wore a golden gown and a black jacket, Messi and all three kids wore a similar black glittery tuxedo with a black bowtie.

Another fan shared a video of Messi stepping out of his car with his family as he arrived at the theater.

Danish soccer player Simon Kjær also arrived at the event with his wife Elina Gollert. The couple took their masks off on the red carpet before posing together for the photos. Kjær, 32 wore a plain black tuxedo while his wife donned a plain black dress.

Many more stars attended the event including Gianluigi Donnarumma, Robert Lewandowski, Anna Lewandowski, Alexia Putellas and Kylian Mbappé.
