Four teenage boys, ranging from 12 to 14 years in age, were arrested Wednesday, and charged with kidnaping and raping a 13-year-old girl Dec. 11. The incident took place in Wellington Woods community in New Castle Country, Delaware.

The victim was returning home on a school bus when one of her schoolmates stole her cellphone and ran off with it. The girl followed him into a house, where he and three other boys forced her into a garage. One by one, they raped her there. The boys also made a video of the whole ordeal on the girl's phone. Later, two of the boys threatened the girl with a knife and said they would kill her if she told anyone about the incident, a press release by New Castle County Police said Friday.

The girl managed to leave the house with her cellphone and police was informed later in the evening, who then started investigating the matter. The culprits were identified using the video of the incident in the girl’s cellphone.

“Investigators executed various search warrants during the course of the investigation and located additional evidence linking the suspects to the crimes,” the release said.

According to court documents, the girl resisted the boys' actions and said "no" over 15 times during the entire incident, Delaware Online reported.

All four boys were charged with rape and kidnapping, along with several other charges. Two of them were also charged with threatening the girl, and one of them, who stole her phone, was also charged with misdemeanor theft. One of the boys had his bail set at $65,000 while bail for the other three was set at $104,000.

Following the incident, the police voiced concerns over the possibility of other victims and asked the public to report any such incidents they were aware of. They requested people to call on (302) 395-2745 or email Adam.Holubinka@newcastlede.gov to provide any information.
