There are a couple of upcoming blockbusters this year as well as some interesting titles from smaller game development companies. Here are some of the most notable ones that are coming out in the first quarter of 2023.

"Dead Space Remake" – Jan. 27

The first of two highly-anticipated remakes this year is fast approaching. By the end of January, EA will be dragging players back into Isaac Clarke's nightmare aboard the USG Ishimura.

"Dead Space Remake" will feature a seamless story flow alongside overhauled graphics and reimagined horror sequences that'll keep even the most seasoned of horror fans on their toes.

"Forspoken" – Jan. 24

Square Enix's isekai game was met with a number of delays in the past. Now, it's slated for release this month on PS5 and PC.

"Forspoken" follows the story of Frey, a seemingly ordinary girl from New York who gets mysteriously teleported into the world of Athia. Players will get to mess around with a number of supernatural abilities as they try to find a way back to Earth.

"Wild Hearts" – Feb. 17

This February, EA and Koei Tecmo have joined forces to deliver "Wild Hearts," a third-person action game that's heavily inspired by Capcom's "Monster Hunter" series.

Track down and destroy the primal Kemono that have ravaged the land of Azuma by using an array of weapons as well as Karakuri, an ancient form of technology that drastically affects how each hunt plays out.
