Broadway's biggest night, the 2011 65th annual Tony Awards, were last night and hosted by Neil Patrick Harris. The night crowned The Book of Mormon its biggest winner. This is such a waste of time, comedian Chris Rock said as he was about to open the envelope. It's like taking a hooker to dinner. The musical, which is written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and Avenue Q's Robert Lopez was nominated for a total 14 awards. The musical walked away with nine Antoinette Perry Awrds including best musical, score, book, featured actress for Nikki M. James among others. Other winners include Frances McDormand for best lead actress for the play Good People, Sutton Forster who won for the revival of Cole Porter's Anything Goes and Norbert Leo Butz, for best actor in a musical for Catch Me IF You Can. Other celebrities that attended the event include Catherine Zeta-Jones, Whoopi Goldberg, Alec Baldwin, Robin Williams, Brook Shields and Patrick Wilson.
