  • The Green Bay Packers quarterback thanked his teammates and his fiancée
  • Rodgers shared his memorable moments in 2020 during his speech

Aaron Rodgers announced that he is already engaged but didn't name his fiancée.

Rodgers surprised his fans when the Green Bay Packers quarterback announced his engagement while accepting the Most Valuable Player award during the NFL Honors broadcast on CBS Saturday. He didn't name his fiancée, but reports have it that he has been dating "Divergent" star Shailene Woodley.

"It's an honor to win this award for the third time," Rodgers said in a clip shared by his team on Twitter. "2020 was definitely a crazy year filled with lots of change and growth, some amazing memorable moments. 180 straight days of having my nose hair scraped, playing for very little fans or no stands the entire season. I got engaged."

Rodgers went on to thank his teammates by naming each of them for his achievement. However, unlike his teammates, the athlete didn't name the woman he was going to marry.

"I played some of the best football of my career," he added. "So I'd like to thank first and foremost my teammates for their support, inspiration, protection and incredible play on the field. The coaching staff for their efforts to make this fun every single week, the energy, the positivity and the daily presentations really kept us going. Off the field, I got a really great group of people that support me. So, I'd like to thank my team ... my fiancée."

Rodgers was only given a minute to deliver his speech, so he wrapped up by encouraging the people to read books, meditate and speak things to life, manifest the desires of their heart, question everything and spread love and positivity.

Meanwhile, many couldn’t get over the engagement announcement because they were not aware that he was already back into dating following his split from Danica Patrick. Interestingly, just last week, he was romantically linked to Woodley. Rodgers and the "Big Little Lies" star have been on a long distance relationship and have kept things "private and low key," according to an insider.

"They have seen each other and been in touch," the insider told E! News. "They continue to talk and see each other when they can. They are both focused on their careers but they also make time for each other."
