At the age of 52, actor Luke Perry died on Monday. His death came after suffering a stroke last Wednesday at his Sherman Oaks, California, home. The actor's rep told TMZ, “the family appreciated the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world."

Perry was most widely known for his role on the acclaimed show "Beverly Hills, 90210," which ended 19 years ago. It was recently announced the series was making a comeback with the original cast members. Perry never signed fully onboard, though, as it was expected the time on set would conflict with his role on the TV drama "Riverdale." He was expected to make guest appearances.

When he passed away on Monday morning in Burbank at St. Joseph’s hospital, he was surrounded by his family, including ex-wife Rachel Sharp, whom he was married to from 1993-2003, his children Jack and Sophie, and his fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer.
