Adele keeps her private life quiet, but she finally confirmed one thing: she is married. The “Hello” singer confirmed what has been rumored for months at a concert in Brisbane, Australia over the weekend.

The 28-year-old didn’t make much of a fuss about the confirmation. She just casually mentioned it while discussing the feeling she was trying to create while recording “Someone Like You.”

“I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record,” Adele told the crowd (via Billboard). “Because as bad as a break-up can be and as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth, and I am addicted to that feeling. Obviously, I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now.”

The news isn’t too shocking for Adele fans. People reports that she and Konecki were spotted with matching rings in the beginning of 2017. Many listeners also assumed she was married after a speech at the Grammy Awards in February where she thanked her “husband and son.”

The pair met in 2011 and welcomed son Angelo in October 2012. Konecki, a business man, is 14 years older than his wife. In Vanity Fair’s December cover story, the international superstar said she was happy to be with someone older who isn’t involved in show business.

“I have no desire to be with anyone in show business because we all have egos,” Adele said. “He’s not threatened by any stage of my life that I’m going for, and that’s an amazing thing. It’s the most serious relationship I’ve ever been in.”
