The National School Boards Association (NSBA) has said that the actions of a father who confronted members at a Loudoun County School Board meeting in June were considered “domestic terrorism.” The man in question attended the meeting to demand school officials to take responsibility for his daughter’s alleged rape by a skirt-wearing boy.

In a letter addressed to President Joe Biden, the NSBA said America’s “public schools and its education leaders are under an immediate threat” due to “acts of malice, violence and threats against public school officials.” The NSBA said, “these heinous actions could be the equivalent to a form of domestic terrorism and hate crimes.” It noted that “an individual was arrested” in Virginia, citing an NBC Washington report about what the outlet called “a chaotic public meeting.”

The outlet said the man was arrested on June 22 during a meeting “on equity issues in Loudoun County Public Schools.”

The meeting of the Loudoun County School Board focused on a proposed policy that sought to expand special protections for transgender students. The Washington Examiner reported that the father wanted to confront school board members over his daughter’s alleged rape by a “gender-fluid” boy while his daughter was in a school bathroom. The father was dragged out of the meeting in handcuffs with a busted lip. He was charged later with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.

In a video of the man’s arrest, his wife can be heard yelling, “My child was raped at school and this is what happens,” New York Post reported.

Speaking with The Daily Wire, the father revealed that a boy allegedly wearing a skirt entered a girls’ bathroom at the Stone Bridge High School and sexually assaulted his ninth-grade daughter. The man further noted that his daughter’s attacker took advantage of school policies for transgender students to enter girls’ bathrooms.

The Daily Mail reported that the boy was arrested for forced sodomy two months after the May 28 incident. The boy has reportedly been brought to a juvenile detention center. When asked about a girl’s alleged assault in a school bathroom, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Fox News the existence of a May 28, 2021, case involving sexual assault wherein there was a “thorough 2-month-long investigation that was conducted to determine the facts of the case prior to arrest,” but could not provide documents as the case is still pending.

The NSBA is now requesting for “federal law enforcement and other assistance to deal with the growing number of threats of violence and acts of intimidation across the nation.”
