Manny Pacquiao is not only a boxer, a senator, an actor, a philanthropist; he's also an avid baller. Last Saturday, the 40-year-old WBA welterweight champion exploded for 42 points in route for a 107-101 victory for his team at the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai.

The polarizing Filipino celebrity founded an amateur league in the Philippines that features teams from around the islands. Pacquiao sizzled as he shot the ball with a splash; senator Pac even managed to score a self-alley-oop on a fast break sequence.

He led his squad, the MPBL Executives to route, the Dubai All-Stars in a close match that features the boxer's funky, but effective jump shot. On Friday, Manny brought the MPBL to the middle-eastern capital for a weekend show.

A day before scoring 42 points, 'Pacman' also registered 35 points against the same opponents, drilling six three-pointers as his team lost 99-96 to the Dubai All-Stars.

The reigning WBA welterweight champ found his touch early in the game and scored a ton of buckets. In 2016, Manny became a playing coach for a professional league called the PBA. During his stint, he had a career-high of four points and was always made-fun-of because of his jump shot.

In the main MPBL games, Batangas won against Imus, 86-85, while Batangas lost a day before against Davao Occidental Tigers 67-57.

Manny Pacquiao trended last week after Floyd Mayweather Jr. announced an exhibition match against the Filipino that could happen in Japan. Manny's camp has since reiterated that they are not interested in the exhibition but wants a real sanctioned competition.

On July, Pacquiao became the oldest welterweight champ after outpointing undefeated American boxer, Keith Thurman. Manny scored a first-round KO against the younger and taller Thurman, but the former champ did not back down and pushed 'Pac' in the ropes in the middle rounds.

However, Pacquiao was able to survive the scare, en route to a unanimous decision win for the lefty pugilist.
